Alitalia, We Love You!!

Salve, amici! (Hello, friends!)

In my last post I mentioned that I might meet up with Babbo Natale, the Italian Father Christmas, and meet up I did.  Actually, I traveled with Babbo Natale, mio marito (my husband) John & nostro figlio (our son) Chris to Italy a few days ago.

I was the very grateful & happy recipient of Alitalia Airline prize tickets which I won at a conference.  Grazie mille (thank you very much), Alitalia!  As our outgoing ticket had to be used before the end of 2019, we decided to spend Christmas & New Year’s in Italy.

In addition to this wonderful gift from Alitalia, we are the recipients of the always warm & generous hospitality of our friends Steve & Hayley who own a beautiful home in Tuscany.  Grazie mille, Steve & Hayley for sharing your home with us once again!

My blog posts are usually a bit lengthier & posted every several weeks.  On this trip I’ve decided to write shorter blog posts & to do it more often while we are here in bellissima Toscana (beautiful Tuscany).  On a daily basis I also intend to post photos on Instagram so please follow us – @tripsnpicsllc.

So, back to Alitalia … our flights on Alitalia took us from Miami, Florida to Rome, Italy where we caught a connecting flight to Pisa.  The flights were on time, the A330 & E175 planes a delight & the Flight Crews truly meravigliosa (marvelous).  John wore his Santa hat on board which led to lots of laughter & many requests for a photo with Babbo Natale.  He was happy to oblige & who wouldn’t be given these beautiful & charming Flight Crew members?

We were all very much impressed with the professionalism, courtesy & helpfulness of the Alitalia staff.

We’ve flown Alitalia before & after this wonderful experience certainly will again.  If you’re looking for a flight to Italy please consider Alitalia Airline.

Please follow our adventures on Instagram … @tripsnpicsllc.  We love you Alitalia!  Grazie & arriverderci! (Thank you & goodbye!)
