Small Business Week – ”From Travels & Photos to Trips & Pics”

So, you might be asking “Why is she writing about Small Business Week?”  May 5 – 11 is National Small Business Week & the City of Boca Raton Public Library (BRPL)  is celebrating it by offering presentations on small business related issues at their two branches, the Downtown & Spanish River Libraries.

This year Sally Clark, BRPL Library Assistant III, invited us to make a presentation on what motivated me & John to start Trips & Pics, LLC, a travel & photography business.  I know Sally from my career with the City of Boca Raton & from having had her as my instructor for some of the wonderful classes offered by the BRPL.  We were happy to accept Sally’s invitation & look forward to sharing our motivation & experiences in setting up a small business.

Our “From Travels & Photos to Trips & Pics” presentation is scheduled for 2:30 pm on Monday, May 6, 2019 at the Downtown Library.  If your schedule permits, we’d love to see you in the audience.  Also, please consider attending some of the other informative presentations offered during Small Business Week at the BRPL.

After our May 6 presentation John & I will be traveling in Italy & Ireland for a bit & invite you to follow us on this travel blog.  I’ll share information about the sights we see, the people we meet, the food we eat (yum!) & of course, John will be posting some marvelous photos.
